engineers are UNDERRATED.. especially here in the UK. Most of them end up quitting their jobs & going into teaching coz of low salaries n stuff... the Arab gulf countries give them the respect they deserve tho..

also maths is the purest of all subjects Sayf, u can't have chem/ bio without maths so u can't have med/pharm without maths either..

I didn't bash mathematicians ya noob, I was talking about the wackjob misconception that engineering is harder than health professions.

Anyway, I was criticizing the supposed difficulty level of engineering. Its harder to become a doc, pharm, dent, etc. PERIOD. Or "Full Stop" as the noob british would say

Prehealh courses > undergrad engingeering classes
prof health school classes > graduate/doctorate level engineering classes

In conclusion, its a lot easier to become an engineer than a health professional

I can imagine some Engineering classes being difficult, but I have to agree being a Pharmdude would probably be harder.

If you don't build a public structure correctly, especially a bridge...people will die.

EVERY JOB IS IMPORTANT. Society needs all jobs. Engineering is a great job too. I just think that Sayf was saying that in college, it's easier than Med/Pharm. That would be true.

Hmm...here is the US we take that stuff in normal Algebra...nothing major.

Don't go lying Ahmed, we take logs in Algebra 2 which is a sophomore class (I didn't even take ti in algebra 2) and calculus is a senior level course.

I don't know the curriculum in CT. In NY that's how it is. We take the basics of log in Algebra I.

Sophomore year I took geometry.

In CT, logs are introduced in Algebra 2, and my school is one of the best public schools in the nation. In my old school, we would be introduced to logs in Precalc (hence my not seeing them in Algebra 2).

I could bet that my HS is better than yours. And anyways, rankings are based on the final outcome. As long as you take the things in the end. But curriculums differ from state to state.
