vegeta = most overrated character in anime/manga history

definition of a barking female dog IMO

even the creator of DBZ says he doesn't like him and put all of the traits/characteristics he hates into 1 person and came up with vegeta lol

and hes annoying

Vegeta is the only DBZ character that many people could actually relate too. He is bad but improves. Not like Mr. Goody Good Goku.

vegeta is the biggest coward in DBZ history ... he cried against Freeza, Janemba, Buu etc.

And lets not forget he was shaking in fear of Broly and Piccolo had to drag him by his hair to the fight .. "Saiyan pride"

and the funniest part was that he was NEVER the most powerful character ... even when he thought he was lol

but ill admit his story is pretty cool

ok lets break it down:

when he was introduced in the saiyan saga he was technically the strongest of all sayains, until the fight with goku, but freeza was still stronger

all throughout the freeza saga freeza was still the strongest, and he boasted about being a super saiyan and being more powerful than freeza after being healed but freeza proceeds to bring him to tears and then goku fought and defeated him and then when they all thought Goku died in the explosion of namek he started boasting about being the strongest, but goku never died in that explosion and escaped

then when freeza came back he thought he was atleast the third strongest but then future trunks shows up and he goes crazy about him eing a ssj

during the android saga he claimed to be the strongest again after killing 19, but in reality he was no stronger than goku .. fast forward to the cell saga when he comes out of ROSAT with trunks and believes hes the strongest after toying around with imperfect cell when in reality we learn that his son surpassed him but kept it a secret in order not to hurt his pride

then when goku fights perfect cell in the cell games he admits hes more powerful than him as well as cell and then he watches his son gohan surpass him and kill cell

now we're at the buu saga where he has had 7 years to train non stop and during those 7 years gohan is not as powerful as he once was .. but when goku fights that monster in babidis space ship vegeta realizes that goku is still stronger than him and when he lets babidi control him he still isnt as strong as goku .. and he doesnt even know about his ssj3 transformation ...

so vegeta is NEVER the absolute strongest character in the show

When he cried against Freeza its not because he was scared of him. Its because he, the prince Sayin, tried his hardest but couldn't kill Freeza.

Also he wasn't enslaved

Watch when he was fighting kid buu to give time to Goku to recharge...that's not a coward.

Yeah he never won because he isn't the main character.

You know who's overrated? Gohan. The kid beat cell but then he becomes Mr. Saiyaman or whatever in his 20s and sucks so much.

Now GT made him a coward...esp. Trunks. But he is indeed the strongest character in the series.

He does cry against Janemba, I remember. He cried cuz he's a punk and Freeza crushed him.

His whole life turned into surpassing Goku. Thats all he cared about ... thats enslavement in my book.

so 1 uncowardly moment throughout his existence .. still doesn't make up for all the times he got pwned and ran away ... and kid buu severely pwned him remember lol.

Gohan wasn't the main character either but he beat Cell ...the main character doesn't always have to win every big battle ...

because he had a life afterwards and couldn't train every single day like goku who was dead and vegeta who is obsessed with beating goku and being the strongest ... what about when his full potential is unlocked and he smacks super buu around like nothing? he's the most powerful unfused character in the show.

And at the end he realized that Goku is "the best" (he admits it) in the episode where Goku ssj3 verses kid buu. That's very courageous to be able to turn his life around like that.

people like to compare Piccolo to vegeta but there's a big difference:

Piccolo doesn't cower in fear when he fights someone stronger than him or starts crying when he finds out someone like Goku is stronger

he was literally frozen scared against Freeza and then had to be dragged by the hair to fight Broly.

and i almost forgot Vegeta's little girl tantrum after andorid 18 smahsed him woow lool .. also you can blame vegeta for releasing buu

Plus I never saw the Buu saga. My parents canceled Cartoon Network after Goku finished screaming and turned into SS3.

And also in GT Goku turns into a kid and can turn into SS3. That's win right there.
