Assalam o Alaikum Akbar Hassan. (we share our beloved homeland and a name).
Before anything else I must say welcome to the topic (or the forum in general).
Glad to know that you are a Pkaistani
hamwatan too.
Just for clearification, Mr. Musharraf won the latest presidential elections of our country by a vote of 252-2 by the National Assembly of Pakistan and a total vote of 671-8 from all four of the provincial assembly, held on October 6, 2007. (It must be noted here that the opposition bycotted this election, going against the rules of democracy and leaving an open field for Mr. Musharraf). Thus he did not sworn himself in; he was constitutionaly elected.
I would also like to know why you are against him. (Please answer in detail).
Akbar, please do me a favor and read my post on the first page of this topic and then tell me wether or not you agree (with reasons, please. It is the last one on the first page of this topic).
Also, just as a point of interest, which part of Pakistan are you from ( I am from Rawal Pindi, Punjab) and do you have
Geo TV.
I am waiting for your answer....

Wa Alaykum Assalam brother,
Naah, I'm not new to the forum I was one of the first memebrs, was loaded with homework
Haan, main bhi Paki hamwatan hoon
I am from Karachi, Sindh.
The reason I don't like Musharraf is that, he's like Bush's puppet. I'm pretty sure you have heard the term of "Busharraf" One other thing is that, he's not so religious. I mean, I'm a Shia and I look at Ahmedenijad. Now he is a true leader. Religious and amazing. Have you ever seen a picture of Musharraf praying? Heck, Theres a picture of him on google of him holding two dogs! Thats pretty much my whole answer.

Wa Alaykum Assalam,
Hmmmmmm, he just basically "follows him". After this I won't post here, I'm not much of a debate person >.<.
Also, I know we cannot judge, but we can see.
