I think we need a legion of Middle Eastern Muslims to calm down terrorists and try to unite Pakistan.

I'm from Egypt.
How we do this?
We get many Muslims who are Middle Eastern to join a terrorist group without killing anyone except in self-defense. They try and get the terrorists to think it through and try to actually interpret the Qu'ran correctly and in a last resort turn them in.

If they are only to defend themselves then why would you call them a ist group? confused

I really didn't think much of him before he declared a state of emergency, the guy was/is a complete dictator but after this idiotic move, throwing the country into complete chaos and disorder, I think even less of him ....

Assalam o Alaikum/ Hello everyone!

WOW Ahmed, you just pinpointed me as the "bad guy" here.

Hello Sultan. I am extremely glad to learn that you are a Pakistani humwatan. I wonder why you don't like Mr. Musharraf.

But before you give your answer, I feel I should explain my views on his deeds to you, and the whole forum at large. Politics is a very complicated thing. We, as non-politicians (as of now anyway) can not judge a politician due to some of their acts. We must consider the whole picture.

Musharaff sahab have done a lot of things which are in a long term benefit of our dear country, Pakistan. Some of his actions, like the emergency, are taken as negative aspects of his rule. So while judging him, we must take into account all of his actions. I don't want to bore you a lot at once, so I will wait for your honorable comments, and then Insha Allah continue my opinion.

Till then, sayonara.

P.S. Ahmed, I like some of Mr. Musharraf's acts and some I don't like, but overall I don't divide the people I know in two groups: One which I like, and the other which I don't. I believe every human being is unique, though some seem to share a lot.

Assalam o Alaikum Ahmed.

Well, as usual, I disagree with you. But I want to know what made you say that all politicians are corrupt. I want to hear your side of the argument before explaining my beliefs. Remember that all means ALL.

I take it that everyone agrees with my previous post, because no one argued. (surprisingly).

waiting for your post, Ahmed.

No one agrees with your previous post Razz ,

Anyway all is the right word because once someone has power he automatically becomes corrupted, it's like nature really, they start thinking that they could do whatever they want because no one could stop them.

Because we are doing it ina way of checks and balances that means if I see you abuse your power you could stop me and vice versa.

Assalam o Alaiqum Ahmed, again...

Ahmed I extremely disagree when you say that giving power or authority to someone makes him corrupt. Are you telling me that all the caliphs, the kings, the governors of the Muslim world were corrupt? Are you saying that Salahuddin Ayubi, when given power, became corrupt? Are you saying that Muhammad bin Qasim, who brought Islam to Sindh, a modern day part of Pakistan, was corrupt? Are you saying that Muhammad Ali Jinnah became corrupt when he was given power to be the first governor general of Pakistan? This list can continue for a long time Ahmed..........

I understand what you mean by "it's like nature really" but not everyone has a bad nature. Some you may say and name, but not ALL

Tell me Ahmed, should you be made President of Egypt, would you be corrupted?

Lastly, if one does not agree with my post on page one, you know that I more than welcome arguments.

waiting for your posts...
sayonara.

Basically, in Pakistan some a large group of people are against Musharaf (The Pakistani president). They think that he is on the American side and these group of people are religious Muslim people that support AL-Qaieda thats what Hassan told me anyways.....
Also some people don't want Musharraf because they think hes corrupt and is ruining the country. However some people support Musharaf and want him to take a second term as president........so.............basically its deadly chaos in Pakistan between the two sides.
