It's SO WEIRD! The Mongols are still migrating and still haven't settled or captured one city!


Yay! Now I have freaking full stack Mongol hordes and Timurids on my land. It'll be funny and sad if they team up. They'll crush me.


More: Spain came and offered an alliance. They are also enemies of the Turks. I captured more Turkish lands. I had so many rebellions today! Mainly due to the damn heretics that are on it. Baghdad, Edessa, Antioch and Damascus rebelled...I recaptured all. Imams suck at removing them so I'll need to get assassins.

i always assassinate heretics ... for some reason they are more predominant in the ME ... Europe doesn't have to many but they have both witches and heretics ...

Oh yeah I forgot to say that I moved my capital to Acre, so it could be closer to the center of m empire. It helped a little.

And I don't know if you know this, but did you know that you could find out what is exactly causing unrest in a city?

double click on the city and then click on the icon on the right and look at public order ... its usually religious unrest for me ... lowering taxes usually takes care of it, or putting more troops in the city or putting in/removing a general ...

Most of my taxes are on low and there is still unrest.

not enough troops in your cities ... i can see that Edessa is almost empty of garrison .. dude you'll lose that city terribly if not to a rebellion, or the Timurids who are right next to it

During the same turn, the Mongols took their first city (it was mines).


They expanded.


My largest army was in this European city...so I moved it to attack the bordering Turkish city...I failed twice.


Look how much generals and family members I lost in the siege of Cairo!


I was desperate...not that they'll help. They also took a city.


This was a very strange campaign...just look at the map.


More: Keep in mind that I auto-resolve everything because the computer that I'm using is too weak to play the battles. The Mongols stopped attacking me after they took the city from me. The city that they took rebelled against them and so they went against the Turks. The Timruids murked me everywhere. They're like the Black Plague. I'm in a huge recession due to army keep...how is that possible when it feels like I have no army...?

I never made it to the new world...SO CLOSE though! I had made Gaza a Citadel (9.5k!) then the bastard Timurids took it.

Question: Should I continue or start a new game?

If I continue my strategy will be to let them feed on my old land while I do operations from my islands. They are port blocking most of my ports though...

And I told you they go after Antioch ... you basically weakened yourself by fighting rebellions and that opened the door for the Mongols and Timurids ... just see how it plays out and do what you can ... try and get a stronghold in Italy or something ...


Try calling a Jihad somewhere and that should divert their attentions while you escape ... I'd hit Sicily and take it from there ... you're going to have to migrate man ... theres no way you can fight both of them like that ... the Mongols settling at the same time as the Timurids screwed you up bad ... just hope they fight each other or something ... give the Mongols one of your lands near the Timurids ... the Timurids will eventually beat them but then they'll be significantly weaker ... I'd honestly migrate like them or something ... just leave one of your islands intact and then sack a rich unsuspecting euro city, and either settle their or leave it and keep sacking whatever comes in your way to build up your wealth ...

I have no money to build boats or recruit Imams.
