Almost the same as my Egypt one ... and the 2 darker green large regions in the west belong to Milan ... I've been fighting them forever over them

he didn't have the highest ranking (I had a sultan with full command and dread) BUT he was the one that beat the Mongols for me ... he's never lost a battle and has some heroic victories ....

didn't feel like it ... i started hunting for easy territories after my forces being exhausted from fighting the Mongols ... I'm lucky the Timurids and Mongols went to war ... or else the Timurids would've done some serious damage that I couldn't recover from this late in the game ...

anyway im continuing this campaign to see how far I can get ...I'm going try and calm the Catholics down but I doubt it would work ... I've taken half of Europe from them after all lol ... then I want to see if I can take the Timurids on ... buy some war elephants of my own .... I've yet to get into a real war with them ...

oh right, and of course try and sail to the new world

but i dont have the money or the boats ... the crazy Mongol war left me depleted and allowed Milan to gather endless stacks

Milan is the only faction (excluding the Mongols and Timurids cause they have no upkeep in their armies) that can actually afford an 8k florin ransom

I finished of a Portugese crusading army ... the best strategy for defeating them is to build a full stack of cavalry (with mostly horse archers) and wait outside the target city ... you can turn the crusading army into dust with it ... or simply assassinate their general or try and immediately kill him in the battlefield ...

Also the Italian peninsula has no castles ... only cities ... the closest castle is Ragusa and thats in the Balkans ... so I might convert one of those settlements into a castle ... or I'll try and take one of the castles north of Italy owned by the HRE ... I can't beat Milan without doing this ... and I lost track of the Timurids ...

No one can stop the great Turkish conquests

And I figured out why Milan is so freakin rich! They made Spain their vassal

And man I wish I hadn't lost that Egypt file ... I would've done even more damage than I'm doing now ...

I'm going to need build some fleets in order to transport my generals to Italy and new conquered territories

HRE and Milan basically besiege a city or castle every turn ... and if they manage to take it, I take it right back ... but I think conquering Tripoli will really make my economy sky rocket ... since I'll be right next to the Moors and have nearly complete control of the Mediterranian ... plus I have a base to attack the rest of Europe with ...

this campaign is getting pointless anyway ...

all good things come to an end ... especially when the Timurids attack Kiev, my most important city

I don't think my Mongol killer general will be known as the Timurid killer general

These bastards came and killed my best general, the one who defeated the Mongols in epic battles, in a three way COWARD attack on Kiev



even then I still managed to kill 547 of them after being flanked ...

There was nothing I could do ... I tried setting up most of my defenses in one area but their 3 armies surrounded from 3 sides and blasted down the walls without any effort ... and then they all rushed in almost simultaneously ...

It turns out, like the Mongols, the Timurids made Kiev their new homeland



But after losing Kiev (which was one of my major trade centers) I still managed to take Tripoli from Sicily and eliminate them

It was actually really interesting ... it seems as if the AI is only smart when commanding the Mongols or Timurids ... I literally saw at least 4 Mongol armies run past Kiev before the Timurids arrived ... it turns out they were running from Timurids themselves! The Timurids defeated the Mongols at Sarkal and then headed towards Kiev and all the Mongols are running towards their last isolated settlement in the middle of the HRE near me LOL

In fact these morons are besieging Vienna right now ... so these are the only options I see viable left in this game

(*) Attack the hordes .... meaning try and finally finish off the freaking Mongols and engage the Timurids ... this could actually ruin me because it will leave me open to Milan and HRE attacks
(*) Try and finish off the Mongols, HRE, and Milan and avoid the Timurids LOL ... or play defensively against them ...
(*) Create a massive fleet and sail to the Americas ignoring everything

BTW I can now finally trains Janissary archers and Qapukulu and I'm in the process of making Janissary musketeers .... hopefully these new units will help me against the Timurids ... I might just send some massive stacks at them defending an area and try and beat them in a field battle or something ... I'm also going try and develop more artillery units ..

And Moors are very weird in your game:

1-They took Arguin.
2-They didn't get kicked out of Iberia.

Timurids are actually attacking a Mongol fort ATM (wtf? the AI is making forts now? AI is only good with the hordes )

I've already won the game so I could actually attack the Timurids head on now ... BUT they can replenish their units

The Timurids are way more expansive than the Mongols ... they're actually approaching one of my underdeveloped castles right now ... with a war elephant army

I actually took the last Mongol settlement (they had to go ... they were seriously annoying me with their constant besieging of my cities/castles) and instead of the faction destroyed message I get this crap

I loved that AAR, I read it 2 years ago lol.

i still dont know how you guys make so much money in this game ... i have 54 regions and im only making like 30k a turn ... maybe its because I'm at war with everyone except the Moors
