one stack down after a freakin 20 minute siege battle!! -_-

No way am I going to attack them in the open ... not untill i get janissary archers who can lay stakes ... then I simply range them to death while having stakes protect me from their cavalry attack

another freakin LONG siege battle whre my reinforcements saved me ... even after killing their blasted general they still fought like freaks -_-

both of my armies are depleted now ... but lucky me! a THIRD Mongol full stack shows up with a general and a full stack mongol captain attacks one of my cities -_-

I honestly think they'll make it all the way to Constantinople ...

wow theres another one but they still have 3 freakin settlements meaning they can easily replace their soldiers ... and killing off 3 armies isn't gonna do i

this seems futile ... theres no way i can take all of their cities and still hold them off ... i mean if they took Kiev which was Poland, why the hell did they attack me?

Make a peace treaty with them at any costs. Give them regions and money in return.

but did you notice that the armies without generals are easier to beat? ill give them rhodes or one of these stupid islands ... im hoping they join the Jihad I called and leave me alone lol ...

new plan: exterminate EVERY euro city there is ... no more sacking ... that should send these infidels a message ...

Milanese and HRE giant full armies attacking Vienna ... but at least I got the Mongols to join the Jihad against the HRE along with Egypt ... black death plague in all my cities and im completely bankrupt ... Venice attacking one of my cities too ...

Do what I told you regrading the plague. It'll turn the tables around.

Egypt is too weak to help so I'm surprised...no Moors?

im just trying to divert the Mongols away from me ... i can't beat them in a full war when I have all of these other factions attacking ... especially 8k in debt and with the plague ... plague is in Mongol territory too ... ill try and make peace even if i have to give up a few regions ... ill give them my weak regions like tiblisi etc ... i need the ME and E Europe regions .... ME regions are making mad money and i need the E Euro regions to attack Europe lol

screw them lol ... and screw the mongols ... these a-holes went right up to the HRE Jihad city and declared a truce!

i tried to break the siege of Vienna but it ended up being a draw ... no way i could've taken out a 1k men Milanese army and a 500 men HRE army with just 500 men

and i lost badly to a Venetian army while trying to take their city because they laid siege to one of mine ... anyway HRE broke their siege of Vienna so Milan besieged it

Don't give up. The game only gets funner when the New World gets discovered. That's in turn 160.

Post a map. And I'll give you better advice.

nah I know ... im not giving up ... still a lot left in the game ... but it just looks like a combined euro-mongol invasion of my european lands ... Mongols are back to their old habits of teaming up on a single settlement again

but i avenged my loss against Venice and am now going to their castle or whatever ... crusade army is once again at my door step

but the Egyptians are still on Jihad ... lets see what happens ... hopefully I can make peace with the Mongols ...

General tips:

1-Block enemy ports. It will block a big part of their income and give you money. make sure to send ship units in 5s+ or else they'll be easily defeated.

2-Send diplomats to every faction and try to get trade rights.

3-Build ports, roads, warehouses.

4-Get rid of the troops that you don't need! They are the ones who eat up the majority of your treasury.

As for the Mongols and European enemies:

1-(Experimental...I just though of it)Capture a land from the heart of Europe; better if the faction also borders the Mongols. Quickly give it as a present to the Mongols. The European nation will most likely attack the Mongol land to try to take ti back. This will spark war between them.

2-Recruit heavy cavalry and LOTS of spearmen. Those are anti-Mongol machines.

3-Make an army of assassins and start trying to assassinate enemy generals. Sabotage buildings that cause happiness to try and inspire a revolt.

these a-holes don't want peace ... i tried offering 3 settlements and they still rejected

but after doing a quck fow cheat i noticed they only have 7 armies left

the plague is also lifting, which is good ... and a crusade army is just sitting next to Antioch ... too afraid to attack ...

well im about to lose Vienna so i destroyed all the buildings within it and got enough cash to make some mercenary troops in order to attack a Venetian city ...crusader army once again about to siege me and Mongols as well ... this time, I don't think I can stop them ... they have 2 full armies attacking together with generals ... I did manage to destroy 3 full armies two of which were with generals, but that was only when i attacked them one at a time ... this time its 2 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 and all i have are depleted forces

You need a military genius.

well I can choose to attack 1 of their forces, but that would be an open field battle

If you're confident then go for it.

bad idea ... they took bran cause of it .. if i had the same amount of men, I would've won ... it was close defeat ...


but losing armies and all of this territory is providing me with extra cash ... its all out war between me and the Mongols now ... im sending full stacks to block them from Constantinople ... and building those towers in everything ... NO more open field battles ... I just can't afford to put out the correct units to beat them in open field battles ...

Build artillery then start shooting from behind castle walls.

screw it ... that wasn't fair ... im reloading lol


and im about to give up ... Timurids have just appeared -_-
