Once he opens his eyes e noticed something strange...he could see!! He thought he was dreaming but he remember ed that that was how his room had looked like years ago. And he saw his self int eh mirror. He couldn't believe it. The lighting roared outside.

No...the fall in the staircase had re-done the accident that he had, had years ago (that made him blind).

He got outside his room and went to see the picture of his mother that he knew had been hanging on the wall.

"Mother I ca..."

He stopped dead. This wasn't a picture of his mother. This was a picture of a half naked dancing woman.

The lighting continued to roar. He heard his uncle screaming along with someone else...he ran to see what's wrong. He kept on knocking at the door. Then his aunt opened the door and Khaled saw that she was in her night gown and his best friend, The woman, was the same womnan in the picture. Mahmood, was on the bed. Khaled was astonished.

His aunt asked:

"What's wrong Khaled, why are you looking like that?"

He forgot that they thought that he was still blind.

"Oh...I heard screaming here so I came to see..."

'Oh it was me...something fell on my leg'

'But I heard someone talking to you'

'That was the radio'

Mahmood sneaked past Khaled and went near the door.

Khaled saw:

Mahmood knocked at the door from inside the house (as if he just came)
The aunt went to open the door as Mahmood isn't already inside.

'Welcome Mahmood' she said

Khaled couldn't take it. He requested to go walk by the beach.

Mahmood ran after him.

'Khaled Ill take you around the beach in your car'

'Where's my car?" asked Mahmood

'Here' said Mahmood referring to a taxi

Khaled couldn't believe it...he had painted his Mercedes into a taxi. Someone came to get a taxi ride and Mahmood said, "Does this look like a taxi to you?". Then the person that wanted to ride said "Am I blind" . Mahamood drove off.

Khaled went to walk near the beach.

it's an over used story, the type you see many copy's of but for an early writer it's a nice place to improve yourself because of all the stories to compare yourself to. I feel the story it self lacks a use of symbolism as well as foreshadowing, perhaps you should change his friends name around to that of a know betrayer ex Judas. You can also add in aspects such as a cane breaking after his fall to foreshadow the destruction of his guide... I like symbolism =D

yes, in fact this story is quite common. in reality if we break it down it's a portrait of human ignorance, we a blind and are lead by kind words only to find our entire life is a lie.
