Khaled was a blind man. He wasn't born this way, but he got into an accident and became blind at the age of 8. At the age of 18 his mother died. His aunt moved in to take care of him.

One day when Khaled got home, his aunt told him that it's time that he gets married, as she can't take care of him all his life. But in truth he had always liked his neighbor, Warda. He asked his friend about her and his friend told him that she is a prostitute that is with a different man everyday and you could see God's wrath in her face.

Khaled was disgusted and never wanted to hear Warda's voice again. So the next day his aunt was talking to a woman in his house, and it turned out that she got her so they can marry. Before doing anything, he asked his friend on how does she look like. His friend said that she has lovely hazel eyes. He asked about hair next and he said that she wears a hijab. Khaled said Mashallah when eh heard this and was so happy.

Khaled went to buy the suit that he would be meeting the woman's family with. He told Mahmood to buy him a completely white one. Then they rode Khaled's car and went to the woman's family who lives in Cairo. Mahmood drove him there.

Mahmood drove the car and dropped him in front of his house. Khaled went up the stairs to his apartmant but his nighboor, Warda, stopped him.

"How are you Mr. Khaled?"
"Fine"
"Is it true that you went to Cairo today to get engaged?"
"Yes, and I am marrying a respectable woman....not a dirty, filthy one...if you'll excuse me"

Warda goes back into her apartment.

He goes to his apartment, but the door is locked.

He finds out that he lost the key. SO he decides that he will go get a carpenter to open the door for him.

He starts going down the staircase and falls and rolls the whole staircase down.

Warda and her mother hear the racket outside, and she runs to see what happens, and when she sees him she calls people to carry him to her house and out him on the bed while she calls a doctor. Khaled is knocked out and has fainted.

His aunt runs into the house and screams and insists that she takes him back to his house. That is done. It is night. It starts raining. Lighting is heard outside. Khaled starts to wake up.
