no they are not. the prophets had God perform the miracles. Jesus did

i mean jesus was a part of God, that is how he came from him, in the sense your son will have parts of you.

Can I just provide further proof that Islam is "the truth"?? Islam and the Prophet were mentioned in both Christain and Jewish scriptures. They were told by their prophets that Mohammed (sa) is to come and guide them. If you want proof I can get the verses for you.

Sorry one more thing that I want to clarify. You guys (Non-Muslims) seem not to understand the concept of Islam. Christianity and Judaism are Islam (or should I say were Islam). Islam is the believing in one God and obeying what he says. Christians and Jews are "2ahl el ketab" or "People of the book" they are earlier versions of Islam. If you guys follow your book the way you are supposed to, that is Islam (most people don't follow the bible though in today's world). However, over the years you guys changed the words of God and replaced them with your own. Therefore, you are no longer obeying God's words which means you aren't even your own religon! Also, why is it that the most religous Christians and Jews convert to Islam??? Its because they understand!! Those who know most about their book discover that Islam is the truth. Like I said before, Islam and the Prophet were mention numerous times in the previous scriptures such as the Bible, only people who follow their book would know that (which are religous people) and thats why most of them convert.
If people even bothered to learn their own religon first, they won't be so ignorant towards Islam.

it's late and i cant see straight right now so ill just post a simple question, What gives Islam the right to say there book as the words of god? I could be a fib and the only thing we have to relie on is faith in our own respected religion.

Because things are said in the Quran that scientists are just finding out now, there is no way a human could have written that.

In some cases the scientists are bias and they are trying to prove Islam as the top religion. like an article i once read that said praying to Mecca was good for your health.

millions have tried and failed to write something even remotely similar to the Quran...

The Mayans created there calendar and mathematical systems with science as well as trial and error, the fact that they used it along with there religion just reflects there culture so what if Islam is the same? Are you freakin kidding me!??!? These scientists that discovered these things were the farthest from bias. None of them were Muslims or anything even close to that. Yet many of them became Muslim after these discoveries. Fine i'll give ya another example. Recent;y scientists found a planet that made a knocking noise. It turns out that in the Quran this planet was already mentioned.
Yet another example, Allah (sw) said the Earth was shaped like an egg (round) yet people neglected that and discovered it long after.
Another example, scientists are finding out now that foods like figs, olives, honey and others mentioned in the Quran are among the best for your health.
