I know that. It's exactly what i'm trying to refute. Let's take it again: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Logically that's not one God at all; since they're all supposed to be harmoniously existing with each other. So there' s a God the Father in Heaven, but at the same time Gods the Son of the Father who's meant to be Jesus who's 'resting with the Father in Heaven' which makes them completely two different entities and then there's the Holy Spirit which is with us all here in this earth; they're all completely seperate not moulded together at all being different statures each. When you think of the Father, you don't think of the Son and when you think of the Son you don't think of the Holy Spirit and on and on. Take a man, known for his innocence and is arrested for Murder and they say to him "But you're part of that other person who's the murderer and it doesn't matter who I arrest; you're all one but in different forms anyway". Please ponder over this.

Jesus dies on the cross for three days and nights; hence no Son and the ties between these three is cut. The question is - who was ruling the Universe for three days?

Anyways I've read over ths and I think you'll agree (at least secretly) that in the end debateing the christian or islamic belief system against other is a matter of ease but against each other, with the two overlapping so much, it becomes almost incomparable.

My relgion is based on the spirtual side along with faith but neither are logicalistic, and so you to have your sides but we each call it coinsidence.

I was thinking about this later on and found that I don't think the two religions can be debate or for what purpose...

The main reason people bring up is to get people "saved" but when you go into a debate wether it is over the right lengths for school dress hemlines or the meaning of life, you go in with a mindset, you know your right and no matter what anyone else says having a open mind to someone whos beliefs are the exact opposite of yours isn't helping either... and still what is the purpose of it in the end?

But I have learnt alot about the other religions and what people in my own reliogion belef to be true, so all in all I did get something out of it!

All in all it's been good but I think this topic is drawing to a close, so night all!

They overlap because they came from the same God, its just the fundamentals of the religions that are not alike.

I disagree, Islam has its proofs and logics and faithful sides!

The point of a debate is to get your point to the other side, and try to make them accept agree a bit.

Christinity has evidence to it too. If the Bible isn't enough, then look into the scientific aspects and what scientists agree on. There is evidence out there that supports that Jesus was real.

I don't know much about other religons, but I think that they are diffrent because they have diffrent ideas of who "God" is and how we should honor him. Correct me if I'm wrong.

*Shrug* why are you asking me lol, I have seen an (Egyptian) Arab (Who is here (Gamiliscool) and has green eyes and brown hair). An Algerian had red hair....we are diverse

Jesus was real is no evidence, that just proves that he was alive...anyways, I believe in Jesus(AS) too...but as a Prophet, not God.

Everyone has diffrent views on religon. I think Christianity is awesome because it was what I was taught growing up. I find Christianity to be awesome because it is accepting and anyone can do it if there willing to change their views.

No, Christianity is awesome because it accepts anyone that wants to believe and have faith in the God from the Bible.

Nothings wrong with the basics of christianity. From how I see it people have to do way more to be a Muslim than a Christian.

Christianity is correct, and has diffrent levels of comitment. You can be a superly devoted Christian or a casual Christian etc.

Anyways, before I do anything, I have a question...do you believe that Jesus(AS) is the son of God or God himself?

Just so you know:

Islam beliefs that there is only one divine power, Allah Almighty. It is clearly stated in the Holy Quran that Allah Almighty neither begets nor is begotten. Meaning that He is One and Only Divine Power.

Jesus is the son of God and born through Mary. I believe in the holy trinity (Jesus, God, and Holy Spirit).

Why couldn't God just "make his son" like he did to Adam? Why did he need Mary(AS)?

Adam was made it be in a perfect world without sin and Jesus was made to be in a corruppted society. Also Adam was the 1st man so he couldn't be born from someone else and since Jesus wasn't the first child he had to be born like everyone else instead of Adam and Eve.

Wait! So are youa dmitting that Jesus(AS) was a man...and not the son of God?!
