M2TW: Americas Campaign

So I decided to play as the Apache in the Americas campaign ... I pretty much overran all of the top part of the map (central USA ) and I was doing fine .... until my wiseman died ... and lo and behold, he was the only one with enough "piety" to call "warpaths"

I expanded east until I ran into the French ... and while I was preparing a sneak attack blitz on them (I literally had a spy or 2 in each of their cities) I notice that they start landing more fleets meaning more troops out of no where!

so ultimately, I decided NOT to attack and played "politics" .. I made an alliance with them and got trade rights ... I was hoping they'd fight the Spanish or something but noooooo ... of course not

I I attacked on of the Indian tribes towards the south ... they were bordering me and my relations weren't so great because my other allies had beef with them ... I quickly took two of their cities and they offered ceasefire lol ... and then I noticed that I was bordering the Spanish so I decided to attack them ... they were at war with the Aztecs who are my allies so I thought I'd get some support from there ... I took 2 of their cities so far and successfully defended one against a siege ...the trick to beating them is to swarm them ... I'd recommend not attacking unless you have a significant numbers advantage ... and try to take them in siege battles and not in the open ....

It's not out of nowhere. They got sent from France.

but they're random ... and I decided to attack anyway by blitzing since I had like 3 stacks just waiting at their borders ... I took 3 of their settlements and all the had left was the very bottom part of Florida and I got the faction destroyed message before I even got a chance to go their ... I guess they imploded .... and then I got another message that they're back and this time they spawned randomly on the very top of the map not near any water or anything

I can finally train mounted horsemen with guns now and footmen with guns

Those came down from Canada.

man ive been fighting huge battles with the spanish .... im literally fielding GIANT armies ...

they're mostly archers too lol ... my "thunder braves" aren't that bad compared to the spanish dragoons ...

Native American armies suck. They are just numbers.

but its awesome watching a shower of arrows fall on your enemies ....

The easiest way to defeat Indians is to have guns.

nah ... easiest way to beat them is repeated cavalry charges ...

Artillery>Cavalry

field artillery isn't that great in M2TW ... its effective in Empire tho ...
