End of the World

The world will end. In science and religion.
Religion has judgement day.
Science has theories. Some that I know is that the world would become smaller instead of expanding. Another is the Sun turning into a supernova

im not even shure if we can kill the earth, im finding myself with more faith in it all the time, our world will end some day, but im starting to think the earth will live on

the eath does not expand or shrink. it has plate momvment. as molten rock comes up from the mantel it pushes the earths plates and the chruse on the other end eather sinks under the crust or plows over it. rock that goes under is remelted into magma. intoher words the earth does not grow it just moves around.

The earth will be destoryed in 4000 million years, wich is the time the sun will explode, or implote, and hte first 3 planets of the solar system will be destroyed. THe objetive of the human race is to be able to find another place to live by then.

not 4000milion years. no one knows when it will hapen. infact the sun may have imploaded allready!

Earth may become what Mars would be.

i know, i was suggesting the earth would survive that, we wont, were all dead in a 1000 years at the most

well some sientist beleave that earth will survive over 4m years without humans growing totaly new agan... and that squids will replace us. i realy dont get the squid part

i think we will kill the world then move to the next one. we are parisites

if you dont like what we do then change something, its easy to sit back and say its not my fault but very few people actully do something about it.

i dont think we will ever live like this again, in the off chance we inhabit another planet our bodies have addapted to this one, it will be thousands of years before humans are really comfortable in the environment

We are at...most likely the best state we could be in. However, the Earth's resources are depleting and we are in constant threat of danger. I think that eventually, there will be a nuclear war.

Or a large ice age.

That will just make Americans the only "race" that roams the Earth.

no, the risk is too high, anyone who fires a nuke will be taken out of office, there will be mass protests, and the country would become the world's enemy. its not going to happen

Nukes would probably destroy the country if not the entire continent. Of course, that would be the case if someone had the guts. There would be the UN which is why they would need a lot of nukes. Ultimately, nukes would be the first way to death.

also note america did fire two nukes in WW2. whats to say we wont do it agan

now we know the results would be so dire, no one in their righht minds would fire one. strategically, there is no gain from it

Think of Bush. He went into Iraq and started a war for no reason. There are going to be people crazier than him in power

he didnt start it for no reason, and luckily he isn't the only person who has to want to launch a nuke to be able to do it.

not really, i belive he went in for oil. i think he was under orders though, he can claim ignorence if he was following the advice of someone in his team
