It was an emergency. I had to contact someone for school. It was just today and I literally touched fb for 15 mins.

I found that out when I had to be on it for a school project, me and the other group member were separated by counties. Even though you friended people you barely know or talk to, it's nice to have their profile in case of an emergency like this and many others.

For me and many others, it's a thing of acceptance. Not to follow trends.

To be somewhere where there are at least hundreds of other people for you to meet or at least revolve around is key in not going the slightest crazy. Even though some may only speak with 10 people of the whole crowd, knowing that there's more people out there & more land to explore just give a sense of security in knowing there's always something to learn.

That's part of it for me.

But to be accepted you need to follow trends.

There are many different trends that happen at once.

Everyone follows a trend, at least minimally.

I don't mean to argue, but it seems like this kind of mentality is one of a follower. A thing of acceptance?

Sure there a couple hundred people around you on fb, but you have to understand they are also digitally zombifide and in a way not human due to being facebook addicts.

There shouldn't be facebook for everything. There should just be message boards like this for particular topics.
