Monotone voice crap

Anyone know tips at how to not be monotone?

you could try adding a little character into your talking, being 1/4 Italian I find that talking with my hands helps.

Get angry and I can assure you, your voice will fluctuate.

Need serious help

I need to present for my speech class. 10% of my grade. I made a stellar ppt IMO but my freaking voice has no emotion

I was serious, learning from dictators helped me a bit during a speech tidbit in last year's English class.

You have a montonous voice?

Not really, I'm loud and obnoxious at times. But acting like a dictator helped get me a good grade in that speech assignment. How else did they get to be in power anyway?

He starts out slow, but then gets louder at the important points he wanted to get across. You'll see this in any real life dictator speech

My problem is far worst than trying to have a stronger voice. I just need a voice with emotion.

I dont know bro =/ I dont know how other people hear my voice. I actually just asked my friend (I sent him the vid) and he said no.

Yeah, that was a bad example. I just recorded my voice on Audacity and it doesnt sound like that

I've always pronounced Sayf just like 'safe'... is that right?

I was actually surprised it sounded like "Ahmet". I certainly didn't say it that way. Maybe could I put a little stress on the D? But yeah it's not Ahmet. Lol

Maybe because you're bored whenever you talk to them. Or because you're boring lol.

I think it might be that I feel bored all the time. Like...nothing really excites me. If I haven't seen a friend in a long time and I see him, the max my excitement ever went was like half way, and that's hard to do lol.

I don't think I'm boring though. None of my friends never complained about something like that, and I'm usually hanging out with friends in college/vacations. I would iamgine if I was broing, they wouldn't want to hang out.

How do I get excited?
