man formations and unit cohesion matter way more in Rome ... in M2 you could be as unorganized as you wanted and still win lol

try playing as them and see how dominant they become late game

You have to play for a good 15 turn expansion to actually reach them.

I have played many Games and know one thing for sure, the most powerful faction is the Pontics.

when can u attack rome as a roman faction? u become emperor or something when u conquer it?

it's a late game thing. just keep doing missions and make the people happy and eventually you can stage a coup, declaring war and all other roman factions and Rome. After that once you take Rome I think you can build a special unit or something, I don't remember.
