btw theres a new one and he's outside my castle on the island near italy LOL

im about to kill him too Hilarious

and stupid Milan took my city west of Italy ... the stupid game kept freezing (it froze 3 times during that battle) so i just auto resolved it Rolling Eyes

the AI is near retarded when controlling the Timurids, genius when controlling the Mongols, and gets way too good during the end of the game controlling the Christian factions


Timurids once AGAIN make a similar mistake ... they brought 2 battering rams, a siege tower, and ladders ... the first ram was destroyed and they got to my walls with the tower and ladders ... when they brought over the second ram, they abandoned it and all they're infantry either went on the ladders or through the tower ... but they all met their end on the walls (moved my infantry there) so once again they're just left with cavalry and elephants ... at least this time they didn't just stand there and have all of their cavalry and elephants get killed Rolling Eyes

the elephant cannons damaged my walls and gates too ... in fact the gates were damaged to 80% ... i think i got lucky with this win ...

ALWAYS leave the timer on when fighting the Timurids or Mongols ... they aren't that smart at siege ... well at least the Timurids controlled by the AI aren't Rolling Eyes

hell no ... xtian factions are near geniuses and Mongols are still smart ... its just for some reason the Timurids are retarded lol ... all of their top generals are dead and THEN they decide to attack me??

wtf lol ... Mongols did more damage than they did Rolling Eyes

btw I auto resolve on Citadels when I have a crazy advantage ... not cheating, just smart Hilarious

i probably would've lost if I played that battle out ... but its my policy to use auto resolve when im in favor to win at least 2:1 ... i only make exceptions to fight them when I really want to beat someone ... like the pope Hilarious


btw I found him AGAIN just standing there by himself .... AGAIN outside the island near Sicily ... so should I kill him, AGAIN?

it would really piss the xtian facitons off lol

Mongols sacked Paris and left btw lol ... take that Milan! Very Happy

i know ... its honestly the only artillery i make (rams, ladders and siege towers are useless by then because of enemy ballista towers ) ... but ever since I fought the Mongols I noticed that trebuchets are actually not that bad for field battles and they're pretty good for knocking down walls too ... and since they can fire over the rest of your troops, you don't have to figure out how to strategically place them ....

anyway i think i finally figured out the point of having the Timurids in the game lol

they can crush you (as long as the AI isn't acting retarded like in my game) in field battles AND siege battles ... Mongols are tough in siege battles but not that tough ...

maybe im having an easy time because M2TW wasn't installed correctly this time ... I'ma have to reinstall it after this campaign is over ...

The installation didn't affect the game itself...or it would crash. That's a fact. It may have messed up launcher though.

These idiots should've just left their forces inside their Citadels ... I wouldn't have been able to take it like that ... but instead I fought them in an open field battle with my musketeers ...

man at first I thought these gunpowder troops were useless ... until I found out that they route enemy units like crazy ... at least in open battles that is ... and then you can finish them off with ur cavalry or whatever ... DFK and broken lances even route ....
