I am a scribe. I am also history's eyes. And so I was asked to record the events of what happened to our great Empire and so I write.

In the year 270 BC, the Pharaoh has ordered that we expand our borders while seeking the riches of the East. We sent some of our strongest men to capture land from the ungrateful rebels. Soon we turned our attention to the Selucid's. The Pharaoh made it clear that they don't deserve life. So a ship was sent carrying a huge army and it landed in Sidon. The army met with the army that was native to Sidon and they united. It was a glorious siege; the siege of Antioch. The people learned who their true masters are.

To get rid of any threat, the army was ordered West to take their city of Tarsus.

The pharaoah then started thinking whether to have mercy and leave them in Damascus or exterminate them.

That's proves how ignorant you are. During the time of Prophet Yousuf (AS), it was still Ancient Egypt. The reason why the Quran says that he is the King is to let you know that he isnt the same person as the one in the stories of Musa (AS).

When the Qur'an says "Pharaoah" it always spoke about the same one (presumably Ramses II).

And finally...not all were bad. Ever read about Pharoah's wife in the Quran? She is an example to Muslim women.

Ibrahim's (AS) wife was also Egyptian.

Well so the article says that in the Old Kingdom they were called Kings. Great. So as I was saying not all of Ancient Egypt was bad. Pharaoah (Ramses II) or even the whole New Kingdom was a small part of Ancient Egypt.

I'm not at war with Pontus, who are the allies of the Selucids. I wanted to eleiminae Selucids first. I think Sards is their last city.

I sent diplomat to Carthage and I shared map info, got trade rights and became allies. Soon after the Romans took one of their city (in blue).

P.S.: On map, Carthage is white and Selucids are purple.

which is better?

They're both great IMO.

Medieval: Better graphics
Rome: They have the concept of capturing wonders, as you might have seen in some of my pics like the Pyramids, lighthouse at Alex or the wonder at Anatolia. The wonders give you bonuses. That's a feature that's not in medieval

Both are fun.

Battle wise, it's almost like the m2tw battles but with different units. You could also use WAR DOGS to scare enemies, that's unique.

Pontus conquered the city of Tarsus from me. The Greek Cities started sieging a city of mines in Anatolia. I had sent an army, with a 6 star general, on a boat to capture the rebel city in Northern Libya but a Pontus ship sunk it .

I'm currently trying to capture the city in the Babylonia region, which is owned by the Selucids. It contains the Hanging Garden wonder.

I lost both my cities in Anatolia to the Greeks.


I lost this battle (Battle for Babylon).


Pontus won.


I sent my diplomat to the west to get trade rights and map info from Numidia


I had to pay them 3530 deanrii.


I finally captured the city in the Babylonia region!


This is like my 3rd wonder (I lost 2 in Anatolia to the Greeks)


I sent a ship to take the rebel city of Cyrene.

P.S.: Numidia actually owns all of Africa (except my land and 1 city that the Romans captured in Tunisia). Carthage got pushed out of Africa and is now just in Spain.

I guess it is. Manageable though.

yeah medieval gets crazy towards the middle and end ... crapload of units, armies, agents, buildings to make, settlements to attack/defend etc ...

I actually meant it's a little more difficult because there are more factions surrounding me. I have the Greeks, Pontis, Parsia, Selucids, Armania and Numinia next to me. In M2TW I just had Turks next to me (initially).

Some people complain that that Egypt is way overpowered in the game.

Egypt is Rome's match in the game. No doubt.
