Hi guys, i'm new to this forum and I made an introductory topic introducing my coming =). I'm Ameer from Sal's Runescape Forums, and Ahmed- along with Sayfullah- may remember me (i've clarified my claim with Ahmed a couple of minutes ago).
Wow, Ahmed, nice info you have there
. It seems that you've been giving some neutral info there lately, good wording man.
Hmm, I just read something that there's always one interpretation to the Quran. That, albeit true, does not count for all muslim authors out there. Sometimes it's interpreted according to this hadith and then according to another...or just to suit their own personal ends. We can't deny this; it's a prophecy besides. Jabir ibn Abdullah narrates that Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) said:
On the Resurrection Day three entities would complain:-
1. The Quran 2. The Mosque 3. The Progeny
The Quran would say:-
"O' My Lord! They
distorted me and tore me into pieces...(this is the main part of the hadith that only needs to be mentioned hereon)
Pertaining to dietary laws, keep in mind that fish without any scales is also forbidden in Islam (this is justified in the hadith). In fact, there is science to support this since it's been proven by close observations that the fish we see with scales tend to roam in the upper part of the sea, thereby staying more clean and healthy to eat. Whilst any fish/life in the sea that has no scales has been surprisingly found to be wandering mostly deep in the sea and the fish is usually contaminated with the toxins and other chemicals that lie deep in the sea, polluting such delicacies and further contaminating the meat slightly on the edge (but still edible, I guess). Either way, it's preferrable- if you require fresh meat from the sea- to consume fish without scales.
Now back to my concerns. I was reading the hadith lately, and I found this saying of the Holy Prophet:
"When God Almighty and Glorious sends His wrath on a nation and does not punish them by it, then; their prices will go up, their lifetimes will shorten, their merchants will not gain profits, their fruits will not be abundant, their streams will not become brimful, their rain will be withheld from them, and their vicious ones will dominate over them." So what I was thinking was- how do you suggest this can be applicable to our age? Oh and by the way, this hadith is written in the Book of Ali (as).
