BTW it is MUCH easier to get a vassal when your global reputation is good...yours should be neutral since you just sack.

Vassals are worth it. They give you part of their income each turn. They fight for you.

because the HRE empire is complete trash lol ... I would make Sicily my b*tch I mean vassal but they dared to attack me ... maybe Venice? Or Milan? I've been trying to take tribute from Milan for a while ... they were really in bad shape after the pope called a crusade on them lol ...

How about make Russia your vassal? That would be a wise and interesting move.

BTW did you know that the Pope is considered a nomad faction...if you take all his cities, he'll just roam around till he gets a new one.

I fought them once dude and they never attacked me again ... I'm not sending my armies to death to fight them head on ... my strategy is settlement defense against them ...

I'm finishing of Venice first (only 2 settlements left) and then trying to get a ceasefire with some loser noob faction and finish off Sicily and make peace with Poland and finish of Hungary ... I really only need 8 more settlements ...

so basically im unstoppable

i only think they give u heroic victories if the odds are against you (like 1:2 or something ... I actually had one against the Timurids LOL)

Just took Vienna ... I think I'm done attacking Italy ... Just going to attack Africa now and Hungary ... playing Defense in every other front

Adios Venice, my Jihad was successful and one of my generals became a martyr

So I was only 2 regions away from victory and things actually couldn't have been worst

Timurids decided to besiege Antioch
Poland besieged 2 of my regions and stupid Sicily laid siege to Tunis

I was actually sure to lose both Antioch and Tunis, and losing Antioch would've put me in crisis mode .. so I employed my crazy secret plan to secure victory

I actually probably got lucky with this victory, because in the previous turn I backed away from fighting a truly MASSIVE HRE army and another powerful HRE army within a settlement ... full of feudal knights and everything and I only had infantry and not any archers so I was screwed ... but then I noticed that my army moved behind the HRE fortress and there was another powerful HRE army there adjacent to it ... so basically there were 3 armies from the HRE (1 full stack outside which I backed away from, strong army inside the settlement, and strong army adjacent to it)

So I masterfully conquered the fortress and controlled the central plaza before the other army got a chance to get there ... So that other giant army didn't have a chance to get there lol and is still waiting outside lmao ... I literally snuck in

Then I was only 1 region away so I was like screw it, I'm taking Milan controlled Florence, the last city remaining in Italy ... and good thing I had bombards on me ... I wasn't at war with Milan but like that mattered I was a settlement away

So I put together a full army from neighboring Italian settlements and crashed in leading to this



I'd like to extend a special thanks to the HRE for being my #1 b!tch in this game ... I think I decimated this factions armies the most and they were indeed the most pathetic faction LOL
