Prophet Yusuf was a minister in Egypt. The wife of the Pharaoh was mentioned int eh Quran and was given as a model to the righteous Muslim women. So yes, you'll find the good and the bad. It means anger, not nationalism. That's just a fact that me and Ahmed (and every other Arab, besides those who have studied Arabic) know since both our mother tongues are Arabic (even though the dialect may differ slightly).

2. This topic should have been named 'This is why the Egyptian army is great'. The fact that you omit any reference to the army and mention only Egypt gives the impression that you regard the country itself as somehow 'great' in a generic manner, a language typical of nationalists. But of course that's not what you're saying here; i'm only mentioning this piece of info so that another argument concerning nationalist tendancies is prevented.
