Sayf why is it that every time I see anti US OR christian rhetoric it comes from you? Please stop it, Every nation has its faults and failures. I am an American and I have friends of many races and cultures non of which fight or hate one another. Yes the US has committed its share of atrocities just like any country, but the nice thing is in the US there are areas where Asians, Blacks, Whites, Arabs, and others can coexist in peace which is more than you can say for the middle east.

It also troubles me greatly that people on this forum have such blind and misguided hatred in their hearts. And not to stereotype but I have never seen any of the Christians on this forum post any anti Islam propaganda just the other way around.

After the Iraqis invaded. What we should have done as a former ally of Iran was send troops and help the shah organize a more Democratic government.

What's up with you Americans and Democracy? By god the propaganda machine against Socialism, Communism, and Marxism has been set so far that you honestly believe that a democracy is good? Why? For the love of god the people in these areas are uneducated. They don't know how to elect a good person or otherwise. You need someone will lead them and they will naturally follow, these places are unstable and CAN'T use democracy. Democracy doesn't work if the people will be the ruin of themselves after such a long period of no education.

And you think Communism will do any good? The Soviet Union couldn't even outlast the U.S. because of poverty in the country.

The Soviet Union was better. And honestly, the place is so huge that much money went on developing it. In a more modern society it would definitely outlast the US.

Also, Russia is basically the Soviet Union. So, that's really not a good comparison.

People don't realize how intolerant and aggressive America is, that's why. For example, they see Muslims not adapting to western life style which they deem as superior so naturally we are living as barbarians in your eyes so you want to force us to adapt your ways. Nor do they know of the crimes it has committed. Thanks for accepting that America has committed its share of crimes but users like preid and jj will never acknowledge it.

All kinds of different people coexist in the middle east as well, but of course someone who has never been to the middle east would say contrary to that. Also its unfair to compare America to other countries in this respect since it is a country built on immigrants, unlike any other country.

Since The middle east and the US are so different culturally I think that it would be unfair to compare their standards of living. I do agree though that quite a few Americans are intolerant, but the American media does a lot to spread bigotry and hate which is why I refuse to watch the news and judge people by myself.

may i just point out that no communist government could outlive a strong democracy due to a large flaw in the system, If everyone gets everything the same, why should anyone work hard? Not to mention the model of communism, the USSR, does not give the system a good name.

btw sayf, that is why he asked you. You are the one who has supported such actions so far and would be most likely to produce an answer.

humm, perhaps supporting was to strong of a word, i was simply implying that you seem to be knowledgeable in such subjects and would likely produce an acquitted answer. My apologies for offending you.
