I getting sick all the time when people verbally attack the country I live in and when we attack back, both sides are at a stalemate. This is what is going on here. This debate between the current war in the Middle East isn't going to end in politics, and I doubt it will end here. I mean, we are fighting a war for our leaders, a pointless war we don't even need think about until we are older than we are now. Neither sides are right nor wrong because our leaders just say so(Yes, including bin Laden and Bush). I say we end this right here, right now and create a rule banning any debate between major current events and only the little ones.

Just a point of clarification: Bin Laden is nowhere near being close to thinking of being my leader.
And I never attacked Americans or the USA, and even if I have, then obviously I mean the leader or the person I was talking to, and not all Americans.

I am sorry for that JJ. But we aren't attacking the USA. We are accusing it of things that we see as happening. Your job is to defend it and correct us if we are wrong.

I never mentioned you at all. I actually have no idea which side you are on.GunMan wrote:Just a point of clarification: Bin Laden is nowhere near being close to thinking of being my leader.

This may be true, but I remember a rule where no one can flame another person's religion. I fear it may come to that. Also, debates can also kill a forum as well.Ahmed IV wrote:I am sorry for that JJ. But we aren't attacking the USA. We are accusing it of things that we see as happening. Of course there is a rule that says no flaming. That is Rule number 1.
But you must make a distinction between flaming and accusing.
It's sort of like the "Devil's Theory of War" (Look it up). This is the "Devil's Theory of Debates" (I just coined that ).
Debates won't kill forums unless it goes out of hand, in which case I'll end it.
