No. The Ummayad Caliphate was the one that was ruled by Sayedna Abu bakr (RA) ending with Sayedna Ali (RA)

actually Islam started with prophet Adam (as) ... but yeah Islam finds its origins in the Hejaz region of Arabia .. specifically Makkah and Medina .. I wonder how the western Roman empire that was already pretty much done could have any influence in that area ... at all .. nobody (Romans, Persians etc) wanted anything to do with the nomadic Bedouin Arab tribes that were always at war with each other ...
