    Title: Impossible...or not?
    By: Ahmed (Me)
    =============================================================

    James, 17 years old, wrote to his pen letter Jasmine, 16 years old, in a hurry since it was time for school. He hurried for the school bus, but he missed it by 2 minutes. "Drats!" James thought. He put the letter that he wrote for Jasmine int he mailbox and ran to school. Then his day started

    But lets go back a bit in time.

    James had never actually met Jasmine in real life. Ever since 7th grade his teacher had gave the class this project where she would give the class a pen pal from another country in the world. The class would start sending their pen pals. Many students eventually stopped sending their pen pals any messages after school ended. Some however cherished their pen pals whom they started seeing as real friends. James was one of those people. His Pen pal, Jasmine, lived in Canada. James had learned to trust Jasmine a lot. He would tell her of all his worries, concerns, and even emotions. She always supported him and they were very good friends.

    As time passed, so did James and Jasmine's relation grow.

    When the Iraq war came along though they started talking about it. Jasmine was a pacifist and was against all types of war. James however, supported the war since his father was a soldier in the war.
    They had a discussion about it and it was heated. Jasmine suddenly stopped sending messages to James. James sent her a message asking her why she stopped answering his letters. She never replied. So he too stopped sending letters. Years passed and James grow up like any other teen his age. His mother one day told him to go up and clean the attic. He went up and started cleaning the attic. While pushing boxes around he noticed that in one of the boxes there was this dove doll. Then he remembered that Jasmine had sent it to him for his 14th birthday. Memories started coming back to him. He looked at the doll and a tear fell down his cheek as he remembered. He had lost his father in the war 2 years ago. And he also lost his friend Jasmine because of a silly war-he had always thought that their friendship was above everything. He sat their sighing. and looking at the window that was leading to the outside view of a dark, rainy sky that had a sort of light white coming from the middle of it...the sun seemed to be behind that part of the sky.

    James went to his room and took a pen and a paper and wrote, wrote everything that had suddenly possessed him. He had missed her dearly. He went outside in the rain and put the letter in the mailbox. Then he went back home and went to sleep. After coming from school the next day. He ran to check the mail...but there was nothing. He checked all through the week and found nothing. He felt shattered. He went to his room and cried a bit and din't feel like eating. He also stopped talking to his friend for a week. After that week he thought he would just forget his pen pal like those kids that did so way back in 7th grade. So James went to the park one day to get some fresh air. He fed the piegeons some bread and watched them eating it. He noticed that a girl that was sitting on another bench was watching him feed the pigeons. He went over to her and said "Hello, you seem new here Smile ". She said yes, I just came to the USA since last week. And she was living in a hotel that was near for the moment, till she returns back to her country. She told him that her name was Jasmine...this gave James a gloomy feeling sense it reminded him if his former Pen Pal friend. James kept contact with her and would talk to her everyday. She reminded him of someone, but he didn't know who. But one day James invited Jasmine to his house since she had told him that she was going to leave soon. So she came over to drink a cup of tea with him and her mouth dropped wide open when she saw the dove doll that James had left on the opposite, black couch. James asked her what's wrong?? She couldn't speak. Finally she screamed and said "YOU ARE JAMES-MY PEN PAL!!". James almost felt like fainting. It was as if it wasn't real. Who would have thought?? James collapsed in the couch and sat there flabbergasted. They stared at each other for what felt like hours. Then she gave James a card that had what seemed like her new address in Canada and she left straight to the airport. James went to sleep and had half a suspicion that he had dreamed all this...but no...the card that Jasmine gave him was in his pocket.

    He wrote a letter to Jasmine telling asking her how she was over the years. She said that it had been empty and that she apologized for her connection with him because of his opinion on something. He said in his reply that it was ok and that over the years he had grown to love her as more than a friend and wanted to pursuit his life with her. In her reply she accepted.

    And ever since James and Jasmine have been sending letters to each other.

    So we return back to where James had sent her the letter at the age of 17.

    James had sent her a letter asking them to plan out their lives together since college was closing in. When James returned he read her reply that said that they she would be going to college in the USA so that they can be close to each other. Time passed and what was planned on happened. James was now 23 and was soon going to be 24.

    The day had come. James took his mother and went ask for Jasmine's hand from her parents. Her parents accepted since they wanted her to marry the man that would make her happy.

    So they married and had a child.

    After much more years passed, Jame went to his 7th grade teacher and gave her a very expensive present since it was due to her that he met Jasmine in the first place. But the teacher refused, and James understood why. James bid her farewell and went home to his family.

    The End

    you should re read your story, lots of small mistakes that make you seem unintelligent. Other than that i give it a 6/10 because we have all heard about sap stories like this one and it's not very creative/suspenseful.
