    Hi Guys I noticed 90% of the debates here are religious debates that are boring and mostly go in circles accomplishing nothing. So lets discuss something new.

    rules
    1-stay on topic.
    2-please do not flamebait.

    Debate- Do you think news agencies like fox news should be able to fabricate stories and spread sensationalism that is obviously false? Is this protected under freedom of speech or should it be considered slander and hate mongering?

    Definitely not, unless they:
    1) change their name to Faux News
    2) Remove "news" from their name

    i hate fake and blown up news stories, i think we should return to a more bare bones style for the news.

    It should be considered hateful and slanderous since people take into mind that news are always true.

    Fox is known to be bias and not reliable. I don't like it.
    People believe all these news sources to much, so it shouldn't be allowed IMO
