umm the chicken. if there was an egg 1st then it wouldnt hatch cause theres no chicken to provide warmth...
or u can think like i used to think..the egg so the chicken can hatch from it to produce another egg (wrong though)

Oh gosh, allow him to ponder is allow him to think Next time, use "think" instead of ponder Ahmed. Stop making me to go and seach the dictionary OK. Otherwise, I'll not allow you to ponder

Re: Allow me to ponder
we have a name for nothing, it is space.
space is the lack of something which is why it can be the only infinite.

Re: Allow me to ponder
nono, space is nothing, it neither expands or shrinks, there is only a finite amount of mass so that neither expands or shrinks either... and as far as i am concerned the universe moves very slowly (when looked at in the right scale) the out side edge is the fastest expanding/retracting but there is no difference between the space beyond that edge and the space before it.

if there is a nothing, then something would fill it, the universe likes an equilibrium but forces like magnetism and gravity slightly effect it, well then for all space there should be mass to fill it, and if the universe is endless then so is mass.

Re: Allow me to ponder
no, mass is finite, space is infinite but only because it consists of nothing phisical, space exists within the earth as well... space between molecules, space between atoms, it is all there.
but if mass was infinite then space would have to be more infinite to accommodate it without it infiltrating our space, and that is impossible unless mass is finite.
you are using infinite in the theoretical sense, where infinite just means a number we do not yet know. Nothing can be infinite apart from space and that is only because it is a 0, and you can add 0 to 0 as many time as you like.

Re: Allow me to ponder
Ok
Age affects testimony because the older you are, the more experience you have, hence you get a fuller picture of your testimony's validity and effect.
Good?

Re: Allow me to ponder
well... ok heres the scenario, an 8 year old, a 45 year old and an 80 year old witness the same bank robbery, the robber is 42 years old and holding a gun...
who will recall best and how do you get the best recall out of each witness?
your choices for that last bit are open ended and closed ended questions

Re: Allow me to ponder
The 8 year old should be a better witness due to not haign as much bias as the 45 year old man.

Re: Allow me to ponder
the 45 year old is the best witness, there is an effect called the own age bias, people recall other people who are closer to their own age best (there is also a weapon focus effect but i am ignoring that because it would effect all of them )
but theres still the question of how do you get information out of the witnesses in the best way?
