Use a mirror as your audience to start, then use a video of yourself giving a speech. Try to remember that you are but human and no one expects you to be perfect. In fact, everyone in the audience wants you to come out a winner. They all want to hear what you have to say.
I start the session off with a deep breath, slowly look around the room in trying to make out the faces (left to right, it's always the same) and then say "Hi everyone. How are you all ?" That already puts you and them at ease.
Do not be afraid to make a mistake. Stuttering or mixing up your words is natural, we do it every day in an one on one speak we just are not conscious of it so much because we are with friends. You are allowed to say "Whoops, messed up there. Let me start that again." Or "In backing up a bit..."
Your audience are all human as you are. You are not the focal point, your information is.
