I think it is safe to say that a war has just started between Russia and Georgia.

yes but they will never use them again, im sure no country will use nukes in a war, every country (with nukes) claims to have them for use in case they get nukes fired at them.. its a stale mate, knowing nuclear attacks lead to millions of losses on both sides makes it an unusable weapon

Will today Russia officially took control of the Ossetia region in Georgia, and now its under Russias complete control. The Ossetiaians themselves are helping the Russians against the Georgians.

Goergia has asked for International help.
Number are not known yet, but lots of injuries and dead casualities happened today in the Ossetia region from Russian air raids. {Article}

The sad thing is, Georgia are fighting a losing battle. They are fighting one of the largest and most dangerous countries in the world, who has nuclear weapons. I'm praying they don't use them, or there will be WW3. Georgia will pull on allies, Russia pull on allies, then next thing you know half the world is dead and the rest is plunged into economic depression. It's happened before, it'll happen again.

Don't forget that WWI only involved the world because the two countries fighting had allies.

Also Pried Russia isn't made at Georgia becasue it broke off, many coutnries broke of the Soviet Union...its mad becasue Georgia wants to join NATO, while Georgia is agaisnt it joining. So Russia befriended the Rebels in GEorgia and is helping them, in response.

The quote that nobody wins in war is a philosophical statement. It means that in war, the loss is greater than the victory. In the history books, it says Allies win, but is that only because the books that you read are from the Allied forces?

So does that mean that axis books say that the allies lost even though they really won?

well woodrow wilson worked so hard for the League of Nations to be made how he sees fit but they still went behind his back (other nations) to make it more fair. in a way it was a win and a lose how you look at it because wilson would probobly screw it up but "we" lost alot from it
