preid, I just started to read War of the Worlds.

Parable of the Sower is a sience fiction. It is happening in 2024+ and shows that people have lost civilization and every where is chaos. It is basically trying to warn man to get his act together, otherwise he will suffer.

we wil destroy our selfes or the earth will. eather way the time of man is limited

war of the worlds the book version was great. movie was bad. somehow the kid goes into the fire and comes back later after you see him run into the fire and no way of explaining howd he survive

its just another one of those Armageddon theories, do you remember about people saying the world will end just after the millennium? I've heard about a dozen judgement day dates since then

I do not think that the world ends in 2012. The reasons are part religious, as Islam talks about quite clear number of years in which somethings specific will happen which have not happened yet . (It is more than 4 years). I will be happy to explain, if you guys allow, that is.

They do. That's why we know anything about ancient civilizations even though I believe that every single thing we think we know about the past could be false

i mean to say they obsesses over it, have you ever heard anyone say "you get more of what you focus on"?

its only natural that if you spend your free time studying something and the rest of your time thinking about it, its only natural to see it everywhere.

be careful what you post grimm, you dont want to be sued.. that happened in my school because most of the students were insulting the teachers on a website, then someone had left it open when they went out and the teacher looked. its called being liable, basically its slander but because it written down somewhere instead of being spoken, its much worse.
