Weren't all the Jews moved here in 1940s?

It was established in 1934 by Russia's government, who moved most of the Jewish population into this region so they could practice their Yiddish heritage without conflicting with the rest of society. Nobody had a problem with it AT ALL, so why not move the other Jews over there in the 1940s?

I don't think the non-Jewish Russians would appreciate moving out of their homes to make room for Jews... and since it was a Communist state, I doubt they would spend more money on this.

Actually it's true, no one wanted the Jewish population. There were kicked out to Latin America and ultimately to go and occupy Palestine.

There's 1,318,194 people living in New Hampshire (56.8/km² of land). There's 176,558 people living in the Jewish AO (36,000 km² of land). I think they'd be fine.

Israel is the Jewish home land in the past. I would say it rightfully belongs to them and not the Palestinians. And besides, that land has barely any oil, and there are better docks to be found in Dubai or Karachi. I don't see why Palestinians want it back so badly.

And btw, this is the reason why Ace is mad at you. Quit turning everything into a religious discussion.

It is in my humble opinion that the territory of Palestine is so coveted because every freaking culture of the western and middle eastern world can lay claim to the territory for religious or historical reasons. It would be wrong to assume any culture or people can be named the true inheritors of the land.
