I downloaded it and Origin yesterday, but when I start up the game, all I get is a blank black screen with the menu music playing. Stupid EA.

1. What are your PC specs?
2. When the music is playing, try hitting Esc. If that doesn't work, try ctrl+alt+del and try pressing the window the game is in.

It can run BF2 and work perfectly fine, so I doubt specs are an issue. But here they are anyway:

Graphics thing: GeForce 7600 GT

1. Check if your video card drivers are up to date.
2. If that doesn't work, try setting your PC resolution to 1024x768 or 800x600 and then launching it.
3. If that still doesn't work, run it in compatibility mode under Windows XP.
