I'm really not looking forward to this game if EA follows through with the micro-transactions thing.

There already had microtransactions in BF3: It's called the shortcut packs, and they did nothing noticeable to change the gameplay.

A video I saw last year was about some people considering making BF4 just like BF Play4Free... meaning you have to pay for every little thing in the entire game or you'll never have access to it. That's what I meant by micro-transactions.

Find me this video! And I think the shortcut packs are essentially microtransactions since you can pay for weapons and equipment instead of earning them by ranking up, like the Dead Space 3 microtransactions (Except that's more of finding parts). And like both games, they won't affect the gameplay much if you decide to ignore them.

Also, COD: Black Ops 2 has recently had transactions as well, but it's mostly extra camouflage for weapons.

He says something stupid like paying 50 cents just to reload, so if that's not in there, it's not the right one.

I think that's going to change. The guy who made that speech recently handed in his resignation, and EA is looking for a new CEO. (Peter Moore?)

Pffft, "resigned". He got fired and EA just let him keep a little dignity and said he resigned.

Good riddance, he brought down a dozen game titles.

Hopefully in the future, there won't be anymore microtransactions (Including shortcut packs for BF and MOH), DRM issues, overpriced DLC, first day DLC, and being forced to buy DLC to get the real ending of a game (Dead Space).

Season passes are acceptable to me though, since I had a good experience with BF3 Premium.

So judging by the pictures on the website, I guess the story could be a 3 way war between China, Russia and the U.S.

Awesome, I'm happy to see the return of the REX. And I see they borrowed many things from Warfighter as well.

Still massive sun flares too...

I wonder if the Need for Speed crew helped out with the driving segment like they did with Medal of Honor Warfighter.

Also wondering if Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel developer helped with character animations as well.

EDIT: Looks like they already have a Battlelog section reserved for BF4.
