Then I heard there was one in Turkey, and the exact same time as the Chile earthquake there was one in Japan. Then there was the one I mentioned in Baja California.

There will be more. The History Channel predicts that an large earthquake for California (San Andreas Fault) is overdue.

I believe that the current earthquakes are a natural process the the Earth is going through. Most likely a shift in the underlying layer beneath the crust has happened and been forcing the plates to crash into each other with more stored energy and more frequently. Probably as the earth warms from the last mini ice age.

Anyways, all that 2012 crap was started because the Mayas (or Incas, or Aztecs, one of them) predicted that the end of the world was in 2012 because this is when their calendar ended. I guess they run out of ink.
