AP Chem is extrmly difficult since you need to memorize the Polyatmoic ions and oxidation states of the elements.

AP Chem
I got a 12/24 on a naming the compounds quiz. I re-took it and got a 0. So the 12 stays with me -____-.

Re: AP Chem
Let me be more specific...I had to name acids and polyatomic ions. The polyatomic ions had to be memorized. Well anyways I actually used this program (flash cards) to help me memorize all the polyatomic ions. And in 2 hours I memorized them all. And since I memorized them, now I know how to name the acids too. Why didn't I do this before I requested to re-take the quiz...I hate when I do stupid things like that -____-.
BTW Sayf last year they gave us a refernce table for Chemsitry so it wasn't needed to have the memorized.

Re: AP Chem
AP Chem is different from normal Chem. I took normal Chem (Which you are taking) in 10th grade. So now I am in AP Chem, since I choose to major in it.

No. Read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mole_(unit)

Well unfortunately for me I don't have that/ But I do have the option of re-taking any quiz once. So I will re-take it tomorrow and hopefully get a 20 out of 20. This is the only thing that's holding me from pulling my hair out of my head (serious).

Re: AP Chem
Relax, and just spend more time studying. I don't have much spare time, and it doesn't matter to me. The more you study, the better you'll do.

I was actually very ready for the test. I just forgot that specific question. And if you forget part 1, then you get all of them wrong >.<

Re: AP Chem
how the hell are you so ahead? most schools don't even offer AP classes to underclassmen ... they're usually reserved for 11th and 12th graders ... and i've never heard of anyone taking calc in 9th grade ...
