Our uth group started a basketball team, and we sucked, first season we lost every game, this season we are doing heaps better and some how we managed to get into the finals!!! sick!!! we play our first finals game tonight!!! Sick!!! LOL anyway, what are you guys playing round this time of year and what is the best sport in the whole world.?

And i hate baseball so dont even think about it lol.

They were in it in Germany 2006 (the last one)....usually Fifa tends to put differnt countries in...

First of all, basketball is the best sport there is. It takes true athleticism to play Bball and is the most complete sport IMO, and I haven't played a real game in over a year cuz they took down all the courts in my area

soccer maybe the most popular but its def not the best ..... I mean more people know about Michael Jordan than they know of Pele ....

A guy wanted his team to train while he was gone, but he got bored of soccer, so he made areo-soccer which later on became soccer.

yeah he hasn't been brought up much anymore since they're looking for the next Jordan .... like Kobe, Lebron and D-Wade ... but Jordan was the one who completely revolutionized the game and brought it to a new level, not to mention he was the one who globalized it .... basketball wouldn't be the number 2 sport in the world (in terms of popularity) if it wasn't for Jordan ....

Tiger Woods? pffffft golf isn't much of a sport .... but you could make a case for Muhammad Ali, I mean everybody knows about him (except den denz who's probably been living in a hole ) .... but I think him and Jordan are probably on the same level .... but since boxing isn't as popular as it used to be and certainly no where near basketball I'd say Jordan has a little edge ...

And MJ isn't just known in America and "some countries in Europe", you can go down to China, Brazil, Egypt , and even Pakistan and they'll know about him. Basically anywhere in the world since he pretty much represents the whole of basketball, just like Ali represents boxing ....

Basketball players are better athletes than soccer players anyway
