Well it seems like I've always known, but it wasn't until i was past puberty that i was really thinking about it.

The actual why is hard to explain, I never really felt like a normal guy, they were into cars and looking at porn stars, and i didn't care about either...

As for girls... they always seemed so much more free, I used to envy it.

Well I think that's enough about why for now.

I don't mean to intrude on personal things, sorry. And I know plenty of guys including myself that aren't into cars and porn stars.

I won't try to fight your decision or argue about it, I just want to elicit some thought. If I recall correctly from a psychology class I took years ago, women are more carefree partly because the average woman is driven more by emotion, whereas the male brain is more analytical, which can lead to a higher degree of caution (though women can have much higher emotional stress, of course). Point being, your pursuit seems to involve adjusting the brain-- which I presume is one of the reasons why you stated steps towards this would be futile, because I don't know if something like that is possible with current technology and knowledge.

If there is a way, though, and you're sure you want to go through with it, then by all means, you have my support.

but the problem is that there isn't a way to physically change. i'm a tall guy with broad shoulders, there's no option that would even make me look like a girl.

And i think it's worse looking like a girl who used to be a guy than being a guy. you'd get shunned, rejected, outcast.

It's true, you will be shunned and rejected by some people and accepted by others. But that's the same way in all aspects of life. Some Republicans fiercely shun and reject Democrats and vice versa. Some Caucasians shun and reject African Americans, and vice versa. Tons of people are strongly influenced by incorrect stereotypes that lead to shunning and rejection (such as Texans are inbred gung-ho morons). And there is, of course, religion (need I say more).

The only good way to fight that discrimination is to hold your high, keep your pride, and show others there's nothing to be ashamed about.

That would be a rather difficult troll to pull off. Most people get a strong sense of identity from their gender, not me!

just a quick update, i'm doing it.
I've spoke to my doctor, he referred me to a psychiatrist, who i'm waiting to hear from, and when he's assessed me i should start hormone replacement therapy.
