Mafia : Lets all have a friendly game of murder and inquisition!

Mafia, from what I understand, is a very popular party game adapted into a forum game that is also incredibly popular. The general idea is that a certain number of players are evil and want to kill those individuals who are not evil in a night phase. Those who are not evil have the opportunity to 'hang' an individual at the end of the day phase by voting for that persons death.
If enough people are willing to give it a shot I think we may find this game quite entertaining. What do you think?

Right then, here are some basic rules shamelessly stolen from the internet

Ill disperse roles and we can begin on day one. Night will come at midnight tonight, or once a lynch vote has been achieved. In this first game there will be one mafia, one cop, and no other roles. There will be no personnel communication. If you have something to say, say it in the tread.

Think you can move night a bit earlier to 10 or 11 PM instead?

As for interrogations, just start grilling some people and see if they slip up. I'm going to put off the first night to next 5 PM (my time) due to the miscommunication. Sorry. day one starts nowish

Day one is in general pretty useless. All it is more or less waiting out for day 2

P.S. Day one is mainly a buffer period so all the players can know that the game is on this time.
