It's okay to have a monotonous voice. I do too. You just have to enunciate each consonant really well.

What do you mean? What does being monotonous have to do with pronunciation? (Honest question)

I thought it just had to do with sounding emotionless.

It has to do with sounding emotionless, but if you enunciate well then you'll sound fine.

I feel like I pronounce clearly though. No one ever told me I didn't. They just tell me I'm monotonous. Several people did.

If its females dont listen to them

Try being more active. don't just read off a slide while standing stiff, walk abound a bit and make eye contact with people. Add some life into it.

You won't get it, since you aren't monotonous. You can't control it. It's not that you don't want to be more energetic or enthusiastic when talking. It's that you have no control over it. When you talk you dont really think "how" you talk. You just do it.

Bullshit. I've frozen up before too, it's natural to feel uncomfortable when talking in front of people and that's why you think you have a monotonous voice. You need to act less formal, kick back any enjoy what you are talking about! Add in tidbits like jokes or reliant stories and keep moving. As soon as you freeze up, it's over.

I used to and often do speak in a monotone.

But whenever I'm explaining something or am in front of a crowd I turn on my "speaking voice" and I become a great presenter.

Just stress a lot of stuff and make sure that you actually care about what you're speaking of, even if its slightly it's better than not having any care at all.

Well when you're speaking in a crowd the most important thing to establish is that you're the smartest person in the room.

Try to sound like you're voice acting for an anime.

Only if you dub an anime, because I'm sure that would be fun.
