Nope, because IRL you actually see the sh*t that some people experience.jj16802 wrote:Can socializing in real life also make you depressed? (Hint: It's the same thing as Facebook, just without a computer.)
Loved the ending though!
How about in a workplace for example, you're poor and a co-employee just came back from an expensive vacation and is showing off pictures that he took as well as sharing stories of what happened during that time. Or if you're single and some of the other employees are talking about how there are 4 couples in the office are dating.Loveless wrote:Nope, because IRL you actually see the sh*t that some people experience.jj16802 wrote:Can socializing in real life also make you depressed? why are you so anti-facebook all of a sudden Ahmed? You seem like you're trying to convert us to a cult.
I don't think you watched the video...Ace wrote:Well, no duh. Although it's not exactly facebook making people's lives duller, it's just the lack of real interaction with real people in general that makes lives duller. So basically, staying on the computer for a very long time will decrease your happiness, whether you stay on facebook or youtube or whatever. Learned that in psychology.
I guess facebook just makes lives a little worse than other sites.
