Nope, because IRL you actually see the sh*t that some people experience.

How about in a workplace for example, you're poor and a co-employee just came back from an expensive vacation and is showing off pictures that he took as well as sharing stories of what happened during that time. Or if you're single and some of the other employees are talking about how there are 4 couples in the office are dating.

It won't be in "your face" like it is on FB. Also while they may have relationships, you might eventually see of problems that rise between them. You wont see such issues on FB

A friend texted me this video link this morning because she knows I deactivated FB so I thought I would share it.

Well, no duh. Although it's not exactly facebook making people's lives duller, it's just the lack of real interaction with real people in general that makes lives duller. So basically, staying on the computer for a very long time will decrease your happiness, whether you stay on facebook or youtube or whatever. Learned that in psychology.

I guess facebook just makes lives a little worse than other sites.

I did. It was misleading by placing all the blame on just facebook, and I corrected it.
