Well, it pretty much ends up being the same thing.
Pros:
Completely free
Somewhat helpful community
Cons:
Not as gamer friendly
Takes time to adjust to
Note: All cons can be said about everything.
It all depends on what you're trying to do too.

It doesn't really suck for gaming.
It's just that a handful of games out right now aren't natively linux supported. There are things like WINE that you can play games for windows (& osx) without problems.
A majority of games for linux are free too.
Plus if you develop a game or something for linux you'll get more kiss-butt.

Steam just came out for Linux, bringing a large library of games with it....
PS3s let you install Linux as an additional OS in the past, but this feature has been removed since an exploit was discovered that allowed hackers to get free PS3 games...
