I challenge you to find a subject and draw it, from start to finish.

And what's more, if you want to, you can tell me your subject (with a reference picture) and i too will draw and post it.

Now I'm no art pro, i just push pixels round from time to time, but i think it would be rewarding (for me at least) to brush up on those brush skills, and create something, to say right now, this is how good i am, and to look back and say "I remember doing that." and maybe "thats one of the things that got me to better my art."

I will be working with GIMP 2, 800x600 drawings, and really, don't expect anything phenomenal i normally do very small things.

Steve I don't know if you'll be understanding of this or not, but if you can postpone this for a few more days...I finish all my final exams on the 15th of May. And I'm not doing so hot in my anp class which is the last final. Is it cool if I could participate when Im done?

yes, of course you can do this after your exams, I'm not putting a time limit on this, i just thought it would be a cool idea.

I'll do it soon, I used to do this with GIMP, I would do the pixel art, outline and all, place it through a vectorizer and have an amazing result. That was like 3-4 years ago though

I'm currently doing my final in Desktop Publishing II, a graphic designing class. I'll upload my work when it's all finished, which should be next Friday since I don't have the software I need to work on it outside of school.
