Perhaps you aren't aware of the size of the military that was sent? Tell me where else a military of their size was sent anywhere in the US for a crime?

You don't seem to understand the point of a lockdown. It's to make sure no one escapes. Boston is a big place, it takes a lot of people to scour that city.
