distribution?

Do you feel it's fair for someone to take a product and give it to others. Or even to just let them borrow it for a time? Or do you think it's a total injustice to the creator?

What about an idea? What if someone took that idea under their own wing? Is that wrong? Is that stealing?

People often distribute for money. So I don't see how that's not fair?

But what if the product was just given away?
Or clones were made of the product and that was sold.

You mean like generics? or illegal copies?

Both, but what would make something an illegal copy?

An illegal copy is if it didn't purchase copyright rights. Generics (like in medicine) are legal copies of the brand medicine. They are legal because the copyright to the brand company had expired.
