Of course, some people cannot afford to pay for medical checkups etc. so should they suffer?
Well just last week Mr.Bush vetoed a free health care program to have enough money to pay for the war.

well i think it already should have happened i pay taxes and i would not mind paying for free heath care

Healthcare should have been free a while ago. I would pay for it however this only concerns the people who didn't stay or never were in school. The elderly already have social security so the program should only be for those you have NO WAY to pay for health care.

To be honest, I don't find the excuse of a debt a very good arguement. If they wanted to implement this system enough, they could cut down on unnecessary funding to their armies.
A Health Care system is good idea to have a system to help impoverished people (and others who cannot afford) to pay for their medical needs. An aid system would definitely help improve health problems and the number of premature deaths. However, I'm not sure if it would actually be put into place.

You see, Health Insurrance companies are very critical of who they insure and are careful not to select individuals who are susceptible to illnesses, disease or injury. They also have profit in mind, which means it will be unlikely that they would want to change the to the Public Health (and more affordable systems).

Has anyone seen the movie, "Sicko", I believe it started much public consernation?
