My grandmother died at around 11:30 last night, so I'm gonna have to go down for Texas for the funeral. We don't know when exactly the funeral will be, and my parents are talking about going down to Texas, attending the funeral, and driving back up to Oklahomo all in one day... that's like 16 hours of driving. Normally we'd just stay in Texas for the week, but since I have school, and particularly a mediocre math class, we can't do that.
I'm not really all that sad to be honest... in the state my grandma was in, I think it's better to be dead than alive. The bad thing is that my granddad lost his brother only a year ago, and now he doesn't have a wife, either. He's extremely social, and just living forever alone in his house will probably make him depressed. We don't know what to do with him, and we don't want to consider something crappy like a retirement home...
I expect the funeral to be Wednesday or Thursday... just a guess, though.
