they are not thieves, there politicians. the difference is politicians are more likely to go to hell.

They're not directly thieves except for the really really high up ones. Unfortunately, they are stealing possibly against their own will.

Yeah, it's the really rich people and corporations doing most of the "stealing." Corporations also find ways to evade paying taxes by using locations overseas as their headquarters so they don't have to pay American taxes.

Some just get around paying income tax at all in the first place... Those who have enough pride not to dodge income tax have to be charged more to make up for the others.

You know what's funny? Raising taxes on the rich would gain about $700 billion over the next 10 years, and if you took all the property from the bottom 50% of earners in the US, you'd get 1.42 trillion.
