God Created A Man and Woman and called them Adam...wut?

Book of Genesis. Chapter 5. Verse 2.

Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

Wut?

... Wtf?

bad translation

I went Googling and many sites say the same thing... but others say this:

"He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind” when they were created."

Makes more sense. But the Bible does have some really strange things in it, like Ezekiel 23:20...

It's a legit translation. if you pick up the book it'll say that.

Even if the translation is perfect, English may not have an equivalent word and as such you get odd translations.

i think the hebrew says "Adam" too

so its actually a literal translation lol

You can't make such an excuse Preid because no second name was mentioned.

I looked it up in the bible in my house. It uses the translation I posted, so both are "legit."

It still calls both Adam ... he's right ... that is actually a good find ... I never found anything like that ....

if your a master in Hebrew then why don't your check the entire passage in Hebrew.
