Re: brutii campaign
Julii is on my back now tho
They have all of modern day france (Gaul back then) and half of germany while I have the other half ... they have stacks everywhere and they have the audacity to attack me while they attack britannia
I made an alliance with Carthage ... or rather they asked me for an alliance ... Egypt and I are cool, no problems ... Armenia was eliminated and Egypt is going after Parthia again ... I'm focusing completely on Julii now ...

Re: brutii campaign
ill kill them all if I have to lol ... Roman blood is the best
But the problem is that I'm literally in between Egypt, Carthage, Julii, Scythia and Britannia ... I'm expecting a LONG war with Julii (like 50 years ... maybe even 100 from the looks of it) and I expect Egypt to eventually attack ... unless I can get Carthage to fight against them or something ...

Re: brutii campaign
Carthage is my ally and they're allies with Egypt too so I don't think Egypt will risk attacking me ... the worst part about fighting the Julii is that they have those trash barbarian territories that nobody wants lol ... all of the good stuff belongs to Egypt and Carthage ...

Re: brutii campaign
Alright then ... I'll destroy the Julii exterminating every single one of their cities mercilessly while Carthage and Egypt weaken each other ... then I hit Egypt from 2 sides and by then I should have the victory and I might continue to take the whole map (probably not tho)

Re: brutii campaign
I dont think elephants generate in their area. You'll have to capture Syria and you MIGHT.
If you go near Syria youll notice the elephant icon.

Re: brutii campaign
Well it was either letting Egypt go out of control or the Julii ... and since I wanted to take Rome now and save Egypt for last, I have to go against the Julii ... but I expect an even more epic war with Egypt ...

Re: brutii campaign
I think Romans can only get mercenary elephants. If you ever get board you can cheat your way to 10 full stacks of elephants and go on a rampage.

Re: brutii campaign
You may have, If Egypt's a super power then uniting roman land may tip the scales a bit in your favor. Just don't get on their bad side till you ether wipe out of peace out the other romans.

Re: brutii campaign
Took 3 more Julii cities all in Italy ... the whole Italian peninsula now belongs to the Brutii ... Julii are attacking my underdeveloped cities and staying clear of the large, developed ones ... they're still attacking the britons as well so I tried to make an alliance with them but it didn't work ... I think after taking all of the Julii's developed cities with real walls I can overrun them without too much trouble .... not saying it'll be easy or quick since they have stacks everywhere but they won't be able to train their elite units
The Julii having mostly barbarian settlements really makes it easier ... good thing Scipii never expanded too much and got punked by Carthage lol ... I'm expecting a lot from Egypt though ... they're swimming in cash and have all highly developed cities ... not even going to bother with the rest of Europe ...

Re: brutii campaign
wow egypt attacked!
so now its Julii and Egypt at the same time! Worst case scenario achieved
I;ll play defensive against Egypt and offensive against the romans ...

Re: brutii campaign
I did a naval invasion of Egypt and rushed Alexandria, Thebes and another city over there ... they weren't expecting it
standoff with the romans btw ... Egypt took a city from me too ... so far they're the tougher opponent ... Romans only have trashy undeveloped cities left ...
