Torrent help

Can anyone help me with hosting/creating a torrent file?
I know I just press a certain thing to create it using my torrent program.
But how do I get it out there and whatnot?
Someone suggested trackers but I don't understand how to use them.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Just open up your torrent client, go to file>Make torrent (Or something which means that, depending on your client (I use BitComet, it's the fastest.)) Browse and add your file, select the output destination, then click on "Make Torrent" or "Save" or something.
You'll have your torrent ready. Now make sure you post the same torrent on MANY torrent download sites i.e. TPB, Torrenthound, etc.
In that way, you'l get more seedeers, and with that, you'll get more download hits Wink
